Our approach combines two important factors, to support your roof cleaning and roof maintenance tasks. Firstly, the biocide we apply to your roof’s surface, will gently and progressively kill the moss, mildew and lichen over a period of time. Best results can normally be seen in 6 – 12 months’ time.

Furthermore, by applying a biocide with minimal or no requirement to stand on your roof, it helps to ensure that the quality and integrity of your roof is not damaged through the process. Plus, it reduces the possibility of harm or injury to the person undertaking the task.

Our roof treatment is quickly and effectively sprayed onto the surface of your roof. It will treat and kill moss, mould, lichen, green slime, mildew, algae and fungi. Our product does not contain bleach, and is suitable for use on all roof claddings, roof types.

The approach of this biocide is that it will kill and remove the living micro-organisms over a period of time. Our team will apply it on a fine day, with intended 4 hrs of dry weather following the spraying. For best results, allow 6 – 12 months for the treatment to work.

Over the following days, weeks and months, the treatment will continue to work. The rain reactivates the chemical and helps it to do its job more effectively over time.

No high pressure water blaster is used on your roof

Our service is best described as applying a treatment to your roof to kill and remove living micro-organisms. We do not stand on your roof with a high pressure water blaster, to clean and clear your roof.

Our approach is not to use a high powered water blaster; which has the following benefits:

Water blasting has the potential to (1) make the roof leak, and (2) remove your roof paint.
Water blasting does not actually kill the micro-organisms, so they will simply grow back again, after the ‘water only’ clean.

If lichen is water blasted off, it can often remove your roof paint at the same time. This can happen because lichen grows and clings to the roof. Hence, why a more complete ‘treatment approach’ is better for your roof, and its long term maintenance.
