Reflections Window Cleaning (2023) Terms of Trade

1. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due on the day of service via cash or our mobile EFTPOS machine, unless otherwise organised in advance.
  • Where invoicing has not been arranged, a $10 administration fee may apply.
  • Invoiced payments are due within 7 days of the invoice date. Overdue accounts will incur 10% interest, calculated daily until payment is received.
  • All costs incurred in the collection of overdue accounts (including debt collection agency fees and legal costs) will be added to the client’s account
  • If the client will not be present at the property on the day of service, pre-payment is required before the scheduled service date.

2. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are based on clear and reasonable access to the work area. Additional charges may apply if access is obstructed or unsafe.
  • Any information not provided to us when making your booking may alter the quoted price.
  • All pricing is valid for 30 days only from the date of quotation.

3. Hours of Operation

  • Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Any work requested or required outside these hours may incur additional charges.

4. Access to Property

  • To help us complete the job safely and efficiently, clients must ensure full, safe, and uninterrupted access on the scheduled service date. This includes unlocked gates, secured pets, and access to a working water tap.
  • If access is not available, a call-out fee may apply and the service may need to be rescheduled.

5. Service Scope

  • Services will be completed as per the agreed quote.
  • Any extra work or additional cleaning required beyond the original scope will be charged separately.
  • We do not move heavy furniture, window coverings, or personal belongings.
  • Colonial windows (multiple small panes) incur additional charges due to the extra time required to clean. Please advise us if you have colonial windows.
  • Standard exterior cleans do not include decks, pergolas, inside guttering, garages not connected to the property, fencing, driveways, or paths, unless specifically quoted. These can be priced separately on request.

6. Liability

  • While all care is taken, Reflections is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or fragile/aged surfaces affected during cleaning.
  • If accidental damage occurs due to our proven negligence, Reflections will take reasonable steps to remedy the issue.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their building and roof are watertight. Reflections cannot accept responsibility for any water ingress or leaks that occur as a result of existing defects.

7. Weather & Rescheduling

  • Services may be rescheduled in the event of unsafe weather conditions.
  • Clients will be contacted as soon as possible to confirm a new service date.

8. Cancellations

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.

9. Health & Safety

  • Our team works in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
  • Clients must notify us of any hazards such as asbestos or unsafe surfaces prior to work commencing.
  • If your property uses tank water, it is the client’s responsibility to disconnect the water supply prior to cleaning. Please speak with our team on the day for advice on when it is safe to reconnect.
  • Mould on the inside of windows poses a health risk to our team. We kindly ask that any mould be disinfected and wiped off before our team arrives. If this is not done, we may not be able to complete the interior window clean.

10 Acceptance

  • By booking a service with Reflections Window Cleaning (2023) Limited, you agree to these Terms of Trade.
